Official Contest Rules
  1. Promotion begins on September 15, 2009 and ends on October 1, 2009, and all entries must be transmitted no later than that date. The drawing is open to residents of the United States and Canada only (void where prohibited), and entrants must be 18 years of age or older. Employees (and their dependents and immediate household members) of Hay House Inc., their advertising and promotional agencies, and sponsoring companies of this promotion are not eligible to participate.


  2. No purchase necessary to enter or win. To enter the drawing, complete and submit electronically the online entry form. Enter the word "drawing" in the Order Number field, if no purchase was made. All fields on the online entry form must be filled out completely to be entered to win. Incomplete entry forms are void. One entry per household is allowed. Entries submitted using bot or automated technology are ineligible and may be deleted. Hay House, Inc., Dr. Bruce Lipton, and Steve Bhaerman assume no responsibility for lost, late, or misdirected entries or for any computer, online, telephone, or human error or technical malfunctions that may occur. All entries become the property of Hay House, Inc., Dr. Bruce Lipton, and Steve Bhaerman, and will not be acknowledged or returned.


  3. Prizes and Odds of Winning. The drawing for all prizes will be held on or around October 1, 2009. The prizes are:

    • GRAND PRIZE
      One winner will receive a trip for two to see Bruce Lipton in Boston, MA with Gregg Braden and Alberto Villoldo for the Choice Point 2012 workshop on October 24, 2009. This prize includes two passes to the workshop, hotel accommodations for one night, and round-trip domestic coach airfare. Travel arrangements will be handled by Hay House and special requests and/or specific flight and time preferences are not allowed. The Grand Prize is non-transferable.
    • PRIZE #2
      One winner will receive a pass to the 4-day workshop.
    • PRIZE #3
      One winner will receive a Kindle.
    • PRIZE #4
      Three winners will receive an Astromusicological Reading by Swami Beyondananda. This prize includes both a PDF and MP3 file of your personal reading.

    Substituting prizes is not allowed. Cash equivalent will not be awarded for any prize. Any applicable federal, state, and/or local taxes are the responsibility of the winner. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received. The drawing is void where prohibited and conducted by Hay House, Inc.

  4. Validation, Acceptance, and Notification. All prize winners will be selected in a random drawing. By entering, participants agree to be bound by these official rules. Winners will be posted on or around October 1, 2009 on the Winners page. The winners will also be notified via e-mail (please add booklaunch@hayhouse.com to your "safe senders" list to ensure that you receive your notification).


  5. General information. Hay House, Inc., Dr. Bruce Lipton, and Steve Bhaerman are not responsible for and shall not be liable for: (i) telephone, electronic, hardware or software program, network, Internet, or computer malfunctions, failures, or difficulties of any kind; (ii) failed, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer transmissions; (iii) any condition caused by events beyond the control of Hay House, Inc. that may cause the drawing to be disrupted or corrupted; (iv) any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising in connection with or as a result of the Grand Prize, or acceptance, possession, or use of the Grand Prize, or from participation in the drawing; or (v) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the drawing. Hay House, Inc. reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to suspend or cancel the drawing at any time if a computer virus, bug tampering, unauthorized intervention, or other technical problem of any sort corrupts the administration, security, or proper play of the drawing. Hay House, Inc. also reserves the right to disqualify, in its sole discretion, any person tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Website, or who is otherwise in violation of the rules. By participating in the drawing, each participant agrees to release and hold Hay House, Inc., Dr. Bruce Lipton, and Steve Bhaerman harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims, and actions of any kind in connection with the drawing or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of any prize, including without limitation, personal injury, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy.
